- Number of smoking residents “Grandfathered” into smoke-free housing: approx. 10
- Under the policy, are these individuals able to smoke temporarily or indefinitely? Please
- provide details: originally they could smoke in units and on grounds. New policy allowed them to smoke on grounds until January 1, 2011. Currently no one can smoke in units or on the property.
- Subsidized-Housing: 133 units – all are smoke free
- Market Rate-Housing: 62 units – all are smoke free
- Senior Housing: All units are 55 plus
- Date of Smoke-Free Policy Adoption: 1/28/2010
Beginning May 1, 2010 there will be no smoking anywhere in the
building; this includes individual apartments, common areas and the
parking garage. Current residents may continue to smoke on grounds
if they are at least 25 feet away from any entrance to the building. On
January 1, 2011 there will be no smoking in the building or anywhere on
the grounds.
